Sara Abdrabou, MA, CRC, graduated from the Rehabilitation Counseling program at CSUSB in 2015. She has over 10 years of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities, primarily within State of California Vocational Rehabilitation. During her tenure with the California Department of Rehabilitation, she provided comprehensive vocational counseling services and served on the State Rehabilitation Council from 2022 to 2023, following her appointment by Governor Gavin Newsom.
Ms. Abdrabou has presented on multiple state-level vocational rehabilitation platforms and conferences, addressing best practices and service delivery for individuals with disabilities. Her professional background also includes work with the Texas Workforce Commission, supporting individuals with disabilities, as well as a transition to Sedgwick Insurance Agency, where she served as a Return-to-Work Specialist and Clinical Disability Specialist.
Ms. Abdrabou has worked as a team member on the Exam Specialists Medical Group since 2021. She is currently exclusively dedicated to serving workers’ compensation clients and the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF). In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Abdrabou has served as a guest speaker for her graduate alma mater, presenting on diverse disability populations and vocational rehabilitation systems.
Ms. Abdrabou looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality vocational rehabilitation services to injured workers in 2026. She is adaptable and flexible, empathetic, maintains strong ethical standards, and demonstrates professionalism and effective conflict-resolution skills.
